This year coincides with the 75th anniversary of the founding of the University of Jinan. In order to meet the needs of the development and construction of the university, improve the cultural taste of the campus, improve the management level of the school, and facilitate the life of teachers and students, we are now open to solicit some road naming schemes from inside and outside the university。The relevant information is as follows:

 First, collect named road scope

This collection of names involves a total of 22 roads on the main campus of Jinan University (9 in the North district, 7 in the South District) and Shungeng Campus (6)。　

2. Collection requirements

1.The road naming should fully reflect the school-running philosophy and school-running characteristics of our school, show the characteristics of campus culture and school spirit of our school, coordinate with the campus environment, adapt to the construction of campus culture, and carry on with the school-running orientation and school-running history of the school。

2.Road naming should have originality, novelty, times, with a certain cultural and artistic connotation, elegant style, profound heritage, to encourage the growth of students, the long-term development of the school has a clear role。

3.The naming of roads should form a unified system, and the style should be coordinated with the architecture, mountain, water, lake, scenery and the geographical location of the school, and should reflect the regional historical and cultural characteristics of the school。

4.The road name should be in Chinese, reflecting novel and concise, easy to read and remember, standardized words, healthy meaning, limited to 2-4 characters。

5.The name shall have no unusual words and inelegant homophony, and shall not have the same name or homonym with the existing road names of schools and urban areas;Generally not named after a person, do not use foreign place names, names。

6.The name of each road shall consist of two parts: the name and the definition of the name。

Third, participants

The road naming contest is open to Jinan University alumni, all teachers, students and staff, retirees, and warmly welcomes people from all walks of life to participate。

4. Collection time

From now until June 30, 2023。

5. Submission method

1.The author's name, organization and contact information should be specified in detail。

2.No restrictions on the form of submission。You can contribute individually or as a group。The title of the submitted works please indicate "Jinan University road name", and explain the profound meaning of the name in the works。

3.Submission address: Text manuscripts should be submitted to Shundao Art Museum Office, Cultural Center。

6. Rewards

The school will uniformly evaluate the collected works and select excellent named authors for awards。

7. Precautions

1.The contributor shall guarantee the originality and legality of the work, and the naming shall not infringe others' copyright and reputation rights. In case of intellectual property rights or copyright disputes, all legal liabilities shall be borne by the contributor;The school has the right to cancel the applicant's qualification;If the work has been awarded by the school, the award decision will be revoked and the award will be returned。

2.Once the naming scheme is adopted, its intellectual property rights and use rights belong to Jinan University, and the university has the right to modify and partially adopt the submitted works。

3.No matter whether the manuscript is adopted or not, it will not be returned. Please keep the manuscript for yourself。
